Cheddar Gorge and the Mendips - 05.07.26 - Part 1
Starting from Cheddar town, taking the West Mendip way with a gradual climb up the North side of the Gorge. We then take footpaths up to Pinny Slight, a beautiful meadow with views of Cheddar Reservoir. Then we carry on to Blackrock and head up to the Southern end of the gorge with various viewpoints and a 1930's watch tower. We then drop down the famous Jacobs Ladder and back to the start.
