*These walks are at low level on good footpaths including canal and riverside.
* Walking shoes or trainers are acceptable for this grade of walk.
* Waterproof clothing is recommended in case of showers.
* Usually takes 1-2 hours in time and 2-4 miles.
Example: typically Stepping stones walks or low country.
Two boots π₯Ύπ₯Ύ
* These walks maybe at low level but could potentially reach to a height of 250m of assent.
*Follow muddy or gravel paths.
* Walking boots recommended for this grade of walk plus warm waterproof layers.
*Usually between 2.5 - 3.5 hrs and 4 - 6 miles.
Example: Buckland hill or the Kymin (Wye valley).
Three boots π₯Ύπ₯Ύπ₯Ύ
* These walks will involve one climb and reach a height of 450m of assent.
* Following muddy or rough terrain.
* Walking boots strongly recommended plus warm waterproof layers.
* Usually between 3.5 - 4.5 hrs and 6-8 miles.
Example: Table mountain or The Skirrid.
Four boots π₯Ύ π₯Ύ π₯Ύ π₯Ύ
* These walks will involve at least one climb and reach a height of 750m of assent these can be on exposed ridges or high moorland.
* Sometimes there are no footpaths so open hill walking is required but if there is expect paths to be rough.
* Walking boots strongly recommended plus warm waterproof layers.
*Usually between 4.5 - 6 hrs and 8-10 miles.
Example: The Cats back (Black mountains) or Carn Pica (Brecon Beacons).
